It’s been 25 years since America’s darkest day. As the years pass, there have been reports of students laughing in class as the planes crash into the towers. But more common than that is many Americans’ sense of boredom and distraction at paying any attention to these events at all. 

“Are we talking about 9/11 again?’ It’s worth pausing to really ask ourselves the same question. Why does this still matter? Why are we paying attention to it year after year?
